-A mysterious poster that promises intergalactic shivers + a new scene where pop and rock will revolutionize the nights of Morbihan = an eclectic festival that uncovers the current musical trends and places Lorient among the cities that matter most this autumn.
Less rap and more rock this year with a program for all audiences and all ages, to be enjoyed at full speed. Aural aperitifs, concerts, conferences, or a pulsation of 120 beats per minute for the unruly (IndisciplinéEs) with a beating heart.
Hydrophone, the new musical space
The 14th edition will begin under the sign of novelty with the stage of the Hydrophone, inaugurated last March. Built in the naves 5 and 6 of the K2 block of the former submarine base at Lorient Base, the concrete space extends its history and plays a major role for the dynamism of Lorient and the attractiveness of the territory. With 2460 square meters (26,479 sq. ft.) and 5 evenings dedicated to contemporary music, a guaranteed jolt with AZF, Sentimental Rave and Nova Materia who will open the festivities on October 31st.
5 wild nights
Coldwave of Frustration, Fury of Dewaere, aggressive post-punk from We hate you please die. The decibels are in store and this crazy lot promises to atomize the space with their electrocuted riffs (November 2). The pop of Vendredi sur Mer, Video club and Easy Life will be the last salvo from the Hydrophone (9 November). Take note: a set by musical UFO Hubert Lenoir, whose eccentricity and poetry will detonate on November 7.
