For its 49th edition, the Lorient Interceltic Festival offers daycare for your children

From August 2 to 11, 2019, Are you dreaming of being able to enjoy the Festival Interceltique de Lorient (FIL) at your own pace? Enjoying the attractions as you see fit and letting your wishes be your guide? It's possible, no strings attached! In partnership with the FSCF (Sports and Cultural Federation of France), the festival offers a leisure service for children from 4 to 12 years old.

Playful discovery

Your little imps will love it. Because the interest of this leisure service is to let them discover the Festival and the interceltic nations in a playful way through activities supervised by FSCF monitors who are BAFA (children's' activities monitoring) licensed. During the 10 days of the festival, the monitors adapt themselves to the age of the participants to reveal the interceltic diversity to each age group.

A wide variety of activities

There will be something for everyone! Athletes can learn Breton dance and diving. The budding bards will participate in workshops by the Carnot Concert Halll and the Garden of Arts and Luthiers while learning Breton songs and how to play Celtic instruments. Vitalstatistix will not believe his ears ... As for crafts, young people will be able to create Celtic figures and make coats of arms using various materials. Fans of fairy tales and legends will also be able to escape into fantasy. And the little gourmets will make a beeline for the culinary specialties offered by the participating countries.

It's win-win

Of course, parents get their freedom. But there's also à la carte immersion for children who can enjoy the festival on their own terms with dedicated activities available from 10:30 to 18:30. It is also an opportunity for the FIL to reaffirm its solidarity with this volunteer work. New interests can be discovered while the festival weaves an emotional bond with young people as they discover a rich culture that will leave an emotional mark.
